Bigg Boss OTT 2 came to an end with a bang. YouTuber Elvish Yadav became the first wildcard entrant on the show to take home the trophy as he defeated Abhishek Malhan. While netizens are eagerly waiting to know who from the reality show will be entering Bigg Boss 17, fans have also been going gaga over the winner on social media. On Saturday, he went live on Instagram and thanked his fans for support throughout his journey. 

Elvish’s Insta live was attended by over 5,95,000 viewers which created history and broke the previous records of the highest viewership which was held by Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan. Yes, you read that right! According to the Twitter handle Bigg Boss Tak, his live was crashed. The post reads, “Elvish breaks all records and has India's Maximum Insta Live watching (595,000+). His Live also entered in World Top 10 rank.” For the unversed, MC Stan held the record as over 541k viewers attended his live. Elvish went on to post an Instagram story where he spoke about how his app crashed and the phone wasn’t loading. Quoted by Hindustan Times, he added, “But good news is humne India ka record tod diya aur hum number 1 pe aa gaye hein... all thanks to you aap log na hote toh na ye record tut ta na tumhara bhai hota kuch bhi. Talking about Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav became the first wildcard entrant in the history of Bigg Boss to win the show. Abhishek Malhan became the first runner-up. Apart from them, the show also saw celebrities like Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani, Pooja Bhatt, Akanksha Puri, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid, Aaliya Siddiqui, Puneet Superstar, Falaq Naaz, Avinash Sachdev, Palak Purswani and Jiya Shankar as contestants. While Aashika Bhatia too was a wildcard entrant on the show, Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik too had entered the house for a few weeks. The show streamed on Jio Cinema.
